Millers Trust

Ordinarily I wouldn’t have turned out for a pre-season friendly. I’ve been to loads in the past and they generally turn out to be mediocre stop start affairs full of swapping players and a softly, softly approach to the play, after all who wants to risk injury just before the new campaign begins. Today was different I just had to there for our first ever game at Don Valley.

This evening the board members of Millers Trust attended a tour of the Don Valley Stadium at the invite of stadium manager Patrick Smith and Commercial Director of Rotherham United Terry Stewart.

A meeting took place yesterday at ASD Lighting with Tony Stewart and three members of the Millers Trust Board. Tony informed us that he had wanted to meet with the Millers Trust representatives earlier, but the ongoing negotiations with the Booth family had taken up huge amounts of his time.
